Currently we are cultivating in the province of Lleida, Cataluña –Spain .
Our region is especially fertile, where the best fruits in Spain are grown.

We chose Lleida for its ideal climate that naturally aids in the process of growing different species of chillies . We prefer this kind of quality and variety, rather than harvests that are produced by artificially generated climates.

The water

We know that water is fundamental nourishment for our plants. And we are aware that it is a scarce resource that we need to care for and consume moderately and mindfully. Therefore, all our plants are watered by drip.

Each plant and species needs a pre-determined quantity of water and with this system, we can control the amount so that we reach perfection. In addition, quality-control inspections are carried out regularly in order to guarantee perfection. Fertilizer and Fumigations.

Another important aspect that our clients must know about is how we nourish our chilli plants and with what products. We do this in a traditional and natural method. We do not use fungicides or pesticides.

We are 100% respectful of our environment. We use natural repellents and insecticides like liquid nettle manure, garlic, wormwood, horsetail leaves, among other elements that play a key role in taking care of our chillies.

The harvesting.

The most important phase in the growth of the chilli is the harvesting. Choosing the right moment in its growth and maturation so that the chilli is at its peak is a process developed overtime, only with practice and the proper knowledge of the species.

The harvesting of our land is done periodically on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and we guarantee shipments throughout Spain – with urgent delivery. Products cut within less than 48 hours, in many cases, do no arrive in 24 hours, from the point of harvesting. Each chilli is cut and harvested one by one.

We carefully evaluate the state of each one and its produce, and we then select those plants in an optimal situation. Unlike other vegetables, with chillis there are several levels of maturation, each level yielding a chilli with different characteristics. Determining a species depends on at what moment you harvest it; the chilli will have different levels of heat and flavor and even a different color. Normally the chilli´s maturation process is from green to red and the chilli is edible at both colors.

The changes that agriculture has suffered in the last 100 years are due to a high volume of consumption demanded by our growing population, thus generating an agrarian exploitation of the land. Harvesting each chilli by hand is synonymous with quality. Perhaps this doesn´t mean a high volume of production, but it means that we take a lot of care in what we do.

Each chilli that comes from our harvest is unique. No two chillies are the same. But we want it that way. It´s the way that we can identify our product as being 100% natural. We don´t use any artificial fertilizers or pesticides.
